Kron is a Brazilian family company, founded in 1954 by Mr. Ericks Bedicks. The company began manufacturing analog meters for stabilizers (ammeters and voltmeters).
In 1980 it started to produce class 1.5 accuracy analog meters for panels, including watt meters, frequency meters, power factor meters and has also initiated the production of measuring current transformers.
In the past 20 years, Kron has made several agreements for manufacturing and representing foreign companies as follows:
Wodex – Canadian company – transfer of technology to manufacture analog electrical transducers.
Testo – German company – transfer of technology to manufacture handheld instruments for temperature and humidity (for more than 15 years)
Vega – German company – representative of level measurement equipments for solids and liquids.
Samwha – Korean company- representative of motor protection relays (during 3 years)
Elspec – Israeli company – representative of electrical power quality instruments
We developed in 1997 digital electrical transducers and we have also begun to manufacture electrical connectors for distribution lines.
In the year of 2000 we decided to split company in companies that could act in each specific field of application, so we created the following independent companies, besides Kron.

Beta – Medical Equipment (Audiometers)

KRJ – Electrical Connectors

Medikron – Representative of Vega (Germany)
